OE FORUM MEMBERS:
The site is now just over 4 months old and as most of you can see, it is beginning to grow...slowly but surely. I am confident that as winter comes to close, more and more users will sign up as the smell of spring planting gets in the air. I hope that you all have found that if you have Land Management questions, ideas or just want to share your own Land Management experiences, then this site has and will serve you well. Every site has to start somewhere and we found "somewhere" about 4 months ago!
Here at OE Land Management Forums, we are not trying to compete with other sites, nor are we trying to be be like any other site. As most of you have found, there really is no other forum out there with categories specific to the areas of Land Management than we have. This is what makes and will make this Forum unique and an interesting place for people to come. Some of the other sites are full of arguing, bickering and childish behavior that simply does not get policed properly, if at all. And more than anything else, talk of Land Management or QDM has started some serious arguments on those sites as well; again, with no policing what so ever from the sight owner/moderators. Here at OE Land Management I am proud to say that we don't have that nor will we tolerate that type of talk or activity. And I think all of you here appreciate that. We are adults here and we share a passion for preserving and enhancing the habitat for the wildlife in which we pursue. Our discussions are good, clean and balanced!! We believe in QDM and we believe in giving back to our wildlife.
Initially I was not going to open a section for "hunting" but I recently opened a section called "The Tree Stand" as a section for all of us to talk about our hunts, experiences and successes. It is in this section that we can share our stories afield and how successful we have been and the rewards from our Land Management efforts. Both the successes and unsuccessful. By all means, if you just want to tell us you saw nothing that particular night from the stand, so be it.
I have come to know almost all of you. Be it by PM, phone call or email and I can assure you, we all share the same passion here. Please know that this Forum is here for everyone to enjoy and use.
As fall starts to kick in, I want to wish each and every one of you a safe and successful hunting season no matter what weapon or method. Wear your safety harnesses and go home safely to your family after each and every hunt as they would wish.
If I can be of assistance, please dont hesitate to post up or contact me directly
In the field,
Mali
